Te aheinga : The opportunity

We are looking for a New Zealand-registered Medical Imaging Technologist to join the School of Healthcare on a fixed-term basis to cover parental leave.

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the undergraduate Medical Imaging programme through high-quality teaching, student engagement, and academic and pastoral support.

This position is ideal for a practitioner who is curious about teaching and considering a future in education.

It also presents a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Medical Imaging lecturer looking to broaden their knowledge and gain insight into teaching within a different academic setting.

You will be part of a highly collaborative team, delivering course content and mentoring students, while gaining valuable experience in tertiary teaching within a supportive environment.

Whether you are looking to broaden your professional scope or explore a potential career move into academia, this role provides a meaningful way to engage with the next generation of Medical Imaging practitioners while developing your own teaching capabilities.

This fixed-term, full-time position runs until July 17,

You will have :

An understanding or desire to learn te reo Maori, tikanga Maori, and the values and practices of kaupapa Maori

Evidence of active engagement in building diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces / environments

You will be :

A NZ-registered Medical Imaging Technologist with broad clinical experience

Committed to evidence-based practice and academic excellence

Passionate about delivering high-quality learning and teaching
