- About the Role
- As Regional Group Manager Asset Systems & Intelligence for the Central Region, you will lead the consistent application and execution of the Infrastructure and Investment Groups (IIG) policy, strategy, planning, and standardisation across asset systems and intelligence. You'll ensure regional requirements align with Health New Zealand priorities, driving improvements in asset maturity and operational excellence.While this is a senior management role, there will initially be no direct reports. You will be expected to take a hands-on approach and actively contribute to operational delivery while building the team over time.This role will also work in close partnership with the national IIG Asset Management team to ensure alignment and consistency across the motu.

- The IIG Central team are focused on delivering high impact infrastructure investments that support the transformation of New Zealand's health system within region and with alignment across the motu.Giving support, oversight and assurance across projects and programmes, the team understand that safe, fit for purpose health facilities, sites and equipment are essential for a well-functioning health system that improves the health of all New Zealanders.

- You Will Bring :
- Postgraduate management qualifications (e.g., MBA) or equivalent senior management experience.
- 15+ years' progressive experience in building, infrastructure, and planned maintenance environments, with at least 7–10 years in senior asset management roles.
- Proven ability to lead large, multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex property portfolios.
- Expertise in asset management systems, engineering, and compliance.
- Strong cultural competence and experience implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.
