What you'll do : As a Graduate Control Systems Engineer, you'll build expertise in providing engineering solutions for power generation Digital Control Systems (DCS), contributing to design, investigations, and technical support that ensure our Hydro assets operate at their best.
This is a hands-on role that will see you diving into investigations, design work, technical analysis, and project delivery.
Reporting to our Engineering Manager - Technical Support, you'll work closely with experienced engineers, gaining exposure to real-world challenges and solutions that keep our generation assets performing at their best.
Over the two-year Graduate Programme, you'll continue to grow both technically and personally through mentoring, learning opportunities, and a variety of engineering challenges, all designed to help you thrive as you launch your career in the energy industry.
This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Tokaanu site.
You'll be required to spend time at our other hydro sites gaining valuable hands-on experience and developing a strong understanding of how our assets operate.

Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or a related discipline Strong interest in control systems and power generation Experience or interest in coding or logic programming Collaborative and practical, with strong problem-solving and communication skills Graduated within the last 2 years or due to graduate by December
A full New Zealand drivers' licence and be able to travel and stay away from home for extended periods.
