Claims Consultant

Join our Claims Team and make a real difference when customers need us most. You’ll manage claims from start to finish, working with partners to deliver timely, accurate, and empathetic outcomes. Every claim is a chance to build trust and support customers through life’s toughest moments. This permanent full-time role is based in Auckland at either our Albany or Sylvia Park offices with start date of 26 Jan 2026 or 2 Feb 2026. You’ll begin with in‑person, hands‑on classroom training (8.30 – 4.30 pm, Mon‑Friday) designed to set you up for success. After training, you’ll work either Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday between the hours of 8.00 and 6.00 pm and you’ll spend at least two days a week in the office.

What You’ll Do

• Lodge and manage claims from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Provide exceptional customer experiences that build trust and loyalty.
• Identify priority, complex, and vulnerable customer claims.
• Maintain knowledge of systems, claims handling processes, and policy wordings.
• Ensure reserving practices and audit standards are met to minimise claims leakage.
• Collaborate with your team and support major event responses when required.
