What You\'ll Do
As an Accountant within our Financial Accounting team, you\'ll be responsible for preparing accounting and financial reporting information for the Group to meet stakeholder, regulatory, and management needs.
You\'ll ensure compliance with accounting standards and legislation while supporting various financial processes across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare annual and half-yearly financial statements for the consolidated group and subsidiaries
Liaise with internal and external auditors and provide required reports
Perform month-end accounting entries and reconciliations
Support fixed asset and project accounting, including capitalisation
Administer revenue metering systems and reconcile Energy Clearing House transactions
Prepare and submit Crown financial reporting via CFIS and respond to Treasury queries
Note : This a 12-month fixed-term opportunity.
What You\'ll Bring
You'll bring a strong foundation in financial accounting, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
CA qualification (or working towards) and a Commerce degree in Accountancy
A minimum of 2 years\' experience in financial accounting (corporate or professional services)
Experience with consolidated financial statements and Workday (preferred)
Excel skills combined with numerical aptitude
Critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail
Ability to communicate clearly and adapt to different audiences
