About the Role
As a Senior Portfolio Manager , you will be a key member of the National Cervical Screening Programme working across a number of key portfolios including Laboratory services, National Coordination Centre, and quality assurance contracts. This role sits within our Prevention directorate of NPHS and is a fixed term, full time opportunity.
The Senior Portfolio Manager will be responsible for managing contracts and relationships with providers. This includes monitoring, evaluation and reporting on performance, as well as providing feedback to providers. They will also lead, provide strategic guidance, and advise on a wide range of service delivery, training, funding and accountability activities, prioritising and evaluating work generated by key stakeholders

About you
You will be an experienced portfolio manager who is confident working in a fast-paced environment and getting ‘stuck in' with a range of work. You have the ability to draw on relevant longer-term experience specific to the job and work demands. You have proven experience in proactively identifying and managing risks and issues associated with the programme and / or business processes.
