Senior Machine Operator

Role :

Wellington is on the move and I'm seeking an experienced Civil Operator looking to join a major Civil Infrastructure project. The right candidate will have the ability to operate a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators for precision work, able to lead a small team when required and carry out the role safely and efficiently.

What we're looking for :

• Previous Experience in Construction or Civil
• Experience operating heavy machinery I.e. Excavators, bulldozers, rollers, dump trucks etc
• Full Clean Class 1 licence with WTR (Class 2 preferred)
• Strong work ethic with good communication skills
• Competent with Health and Safety procedures

• Willingness to be on the tools and in the trenches when required
• Respect the equipment and take pride in preventive maintenance.
• Have a positive attitude and promote a healthy team environment
• High personal standards and presentation of work
• Drug-free (Pre-employment, reasonable cause, post-incident and random drug testing).
