Role Overview
The Account Executive is a hybrid 50 / 50 role combining Account Management and New Business Development responsibilities, with a strong focus on promoting DTSL’s Totality solutions — encompassing both Managed Services and Professional Services.
This role will target customers across a variety of industries, including the Government sector in Wellington, with a primary focus on organizations ranging from 50 to 500 seats.
What you’ll be doing
1. Account Development & Management
- Manage and grow existing client relationships (a select group of customers).
- Build account plans and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
- Maintain accurate CRM data and reporting.
2. Growth of Totality Services and Revenues
Securing new name accountsProactively identify and close new business opportunities.Promote DTSL’s Totality portfolio including managed services, project delivery, and associated solutions.This includes the promotion from early life release of new services.4. Representation of DTSL
Represent DTSL and the Totality brand with professionalism and integrity.Be the face of DTSL in customer engagements, tenders, and proposals.5. Relationship Management
Develop strong long-term relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.Navigate multi-stakeholder environments and influence decision-makers.6. Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate internally across technical, management, and operational teams.Drive proposal and tender responses, and coordinate internal resources as neededWhat you’ll bring :
10+ years of sales / business experience with proven ability to generate new business and grow existing accountsExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and relationship-building skillsStrong sales qualification and closing skillsExceptional verbal and written communicationAbility to engage at C-level and technical stakeholder levelsStrong business acumen , including financial literacy and strategic thinkingConfident in presenting complex technical solutions clearly and persuasivelyEffective in proposal management and sales documentationSelf-starter who can work independently and meet / exceed sales targetsWhat We Offer
