We're looking for a Chief Advisor to the Deputy Chief Executive – Aviation Security — a strategic partner and trusted leader who can help steer the future of aviation security in New Zealand.
This role is based in Wellington.
About the Role
You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and performance of the Aviation Security Group.
As the DCE's trusted advisor, you'll provide high-level analysis, insight and advice on complex issues, ensuring that leadership decisions are well-informed and aligned with the organisation's priorities.
You'll act as a key liaison across the Civil Aviation Authority and with external partners — representing the DCE in strategic forums, leading cross-agency initiatives, and supporting the effective delivery of aviation security outcomes that protect New Zealand's skies.
This is a diverse and influential role that requires political acumen, discretion, and the ability to operate confidently across organisational boundaries.
