We are seeking an experienced Principal Advisor to join our team and support us through an exciting period of integration and development.
This role involves uplifting the maturity of our Risk and Assurance functions within the new Corporate and Digital Shared Services group.
Reporting to the Manager of Group Risk and Assurance within the Planning Risk and Assurance branch you will play a pivotal role in :
Driving consistency – aligning and standardising risk functions across the group
Supporting ongoing efforts to embed risk management and insurance into our broader performance strategy
Providing operational and strategic risk advice
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by contributing practical solutions and strengthening our overall risk and assurance framework.

5+ years of experience in risk management and assurance
A proven track record in managing complex risk and assurance activities
Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
Ability to adapt to change, manage uncertainty, and make sound decisions with incomplete information
Confidence in advising and supporting the business to manage risks effectively and identify opportunities for improvement
Strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities within tight deadlines
Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand
