Job Title : HVAC Technician - Auckland Prison

Job Description Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team at Auckland Prison . In this role, you will work closely with the Facilities Manager and Trades Operations Supervisor to deliver high-quality maintenance services across the site. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, managing subcontractors, completing documentation, and ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a secure and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Performing planned and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Coordinating subcontractor activities and ensuring compliance.
• Conducting regular facility inspections and reporting issues.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Participating in emergency response efforts and supporting minor projects.
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with KPIs and safety standards.
