RV Technician - Fixed Term - Fixed Term Full-time - Auckland South

The Role :

We are on the lookout for dedicated Vehicle Maintenance Technicians to embark on a full-time, fixed-term journey with our Auckland team during our bustling high season.

Key Qualities :

  • Pride in your work and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed.
  • Experience with 12-volt electrical systems, electronics, and mechanical skills (highly regarded but not essential).
  • A minimum of a restricted driver's license.
  • Experience in plumbing, gas fitting, electrical, or carpentry (a plus but not required).
  • Flexible and available to work rostered hours. We will be operating two separate shifts for these roles : Morning Shift : 6 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM and Late Shift : 10 : 30 AM - 9 : 00 PM. Applicants must be available to work both shifts as needed.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • A willingness to learn new tasks and skills.
  • An appreciation for quality assurance.

Role Responsibilities :

  • Ensure all vehicles returning from hire or being prepared for sale meet thl standards.
  • Conduct pre-hire checks to identify any mechanical or interior issues.
  • Repair interior vehicle issues / faults to required thl standards.
  • Perform basic mechanical repairs on various makes and models of the thl fleet.
  • Participate in and lead training and development activities to enhance personal and team knowledge and service provision.
  • Facilitate problem-solving and collaboration.
