About the Role
As a Regional Programme Coordinator, you'll be supporting the delivery of health infrastructure projects across the Te Waipounamu region. Working across multiple districts and teams, to ensure projects are well-planned, aligned with national priorities, and delivered efficiently.
You’ll support the Regional Group Manager Investment and Partnerships, as well as other regional Group Manager leaders, by monitoring and coordinating project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and reporting and identifying gaps with our communication to relevant stakeholders. You’ll be the link between district delivery teams and national governance, helping to ensure consistency, quality assurance, and effective communication across the programme.

Giving support, oversight and assurance across projects and programmes, they understand that safe, fit for purpose health facilities, sites and equipment are essential for a well-functioning health system that improves the health of all New Zealanders.

You're someone who brings clarity and coordination to your work. You understand how to support multiple projects at once, keeping track of moving parts while ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. You're confident working with senior leaders and governance groups, and you know how to keep communication clear, timely, and purposeful.
You bring a strong sense of initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting a wider team. You're comfortable managing logistics, preparing reports, and supporting procurement and financial processes. You know how to navigate competing priorities, and you're skilled at making sure the right people have the right information at the right time.
You care about the impact of your work and understand how strong coordination contributes to better outcomes for communities.
