As part of our dedicated team, you will be contributing to Ara Poutama Aotearoa's mission of fostering a safer society by reducing re-offending, specifically in the area of child sexual offences.At Te Piriti, we run two essential psychological treatment programmes, aligning our efforts with our organisational goals.
As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in conducting clinical assessments, leading group treatments, offering supervision, guidance, and training to Corrections and allied agencies.
Additionally, you will engage in meaningful consultations with the NZ Parole Board and the Courts, actively participating in various service initiatives.What sets this role apart is the diverse and challenging nature of the work we do.
You will be involved in both lower and high-intensity treatment environments, operating within therapeutic contexts.
Te Piriti has a specific focus on promoting a therapeutic environment within a tikanga Maori framework.
