We are looking for MOTOR MECHANICS.

More details about the position

? Location : AUCKLAND
? Job type : Full-time Permanent
? Number of positions for this job : up to 2
? Pay rate : from $30-$35 per hour
? Days required : 5-6 days / week
? Hours per week : min 30, max 50 hours per week

Responsibilities and Accountabilities :

? Diagnosing vehicle issues : Identifying and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and other vehicle problems through various methods such as visual inspection, computer diagnostics, and test drives.

? Repairing and maintaining vehicles : Performing necessary repairs and maintenance tasks on vehicles, including engine tune-ups, brake

? adjustments, oil changes, and tire rotations, to ensure proper functioning and longevity.

? Conducting inspections : Inspecting vehicles for safety and performance issues, following manufacturer guidelines and regulatory standards, and recommending repairs or replacements as needed.

? Using tools and equipment : Utilizing a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment, to effectively diagnose problems and perform repairs on vehicles.

? Keeping records : Maintaining accurate records of all repairs, services, and parts used, including documenting diagnostic findings, repairs performed, and customer interactions, to ensure accountability and facilitate future maintenance.

? Providing customer service : Communicating with customers to understand their vehicle concerns, explaining repair options and costs, and providing excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction and repeat business

Job Requirement

? At least two-years relevant prior experience or substitute with a formal qualification

? A "can-do" attitude

? Have an eye on details

? Self-motivated

? Clean non-criminal record
