Cleaning Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at IClean Christchurch Commercial Cleaning.

The role involves supervising cleaners, coordinating schedules, training staff, and ensuring high-quality standards across multiple sites.

You will support daily operations, assist with hands-on cleaning when needed, and maintain strong communication with clients.

IClean Christchurch Commercial Cleaning is seeking an experienced and reliable  Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning team across multiple commercial and residential sites. This role involves coordinating schedules, supervising staff, training new cleaners, and ensuring all work meets our high-quality standards. You will support day-to-day operations, communicate with clients, and occasionally assist with hands-on cleaning when required.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support cleaning staff across different sites

Plan daily work schedules and allocate tasks

Train staff in cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety

Inspect completed work to ensure high standards

Assist with cleaning duties when necessary

Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment

Communicate with clients and address issues promptly

Ensure all Health & Safety policies are followed

• Work on weekends and public holidays when required

Skills & Experience

Previous experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or Team Leader

Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures

Ability to lead, motivate, and support a small team

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Reliable, organised, and detail-oriented

Full NZ driver licence preferred

Must hold a valid New Zealand visa to apply
