Stock Control Manager

Job DescriptionAs the Stock Control Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient management of inventory at our AKL Distribution Centre.

You will work closely with the frozen labelling team and cross-functional departments to maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and operational excellence.This role is based in Mount Wellington and reports to the Warehouse Manager.You will...Oversee the end-to-end inventory process, including inbound, storage, and distribution of meal kit ingredients.Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stocktakes using the warehouse management system.Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock, making data-driven decisions to optimise stock.Coordinate with Procurement and QC teams to manage shortages and ensure quality standards are met.Lead initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, reduce shrinkage, and optimise storage space.Work with Operations to plan and execute order fulfilment, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.Provide regular reporting and insights on inventory performance and key metrics.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations, including HACCP and BRCGS.You have...Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of food safety regulations, quality standards, and inventory management best practices.Excellent planning, organisation, and digital skills (Microsoft Office, Google Drive, warehouse systems).
