Intermediate Developer

We're looking for an Intermediate Developer to join a dynamic, collaborative team working on large-scale backend systems.

What you'll do

Take ownership of technical problems and deliver high-quality features end-to-end.

Design, build, and maintain

RESTful APIs

and

microservices

using

Java (Spring Boot)

Apply strong engineering practices to create scalable, maintainable solutions.

Break down complex challenges into achievable tasks, while supporting others to do the same.

Write resilient, observable code and contribute to quality through reviews and testing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive team culture.

Share knowledge and mentor colleagues through pairing, documentation, and guidance.

Participate in production support and on-call activities to ensure system reliability.

What you'll bring

Proven experience in backend development with

Java (Spring Boot)

Strong knowledge of

microservices architecture

Docker

, and

Kubernetes

Familiarity with

API security standards

(OAuth2, JWT, TLS).

Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and cloud databases (AWS RDS, Aurora).

Hands-on with Git / GitHub / Bitbucket for version control and collaboration.

Agile mindset, with experience working in sprints, ceremonies, and code reviews.

Exposure to

message brokers

such as Kafka.

Knowledge of

CI / CD pipelines

(Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Pinnacle).

Familiarity with

cloud platforms

(AWS / Azure), including services like EKS / ECS.

Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, Grafana, CloudWatch).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

2–4+ years of professional experience in backend development, with hands-on

Spring Boot microservices

expertise.

Solid grounding in OOP, software design patterns, and SOLID principles.
