In this fast‑paced role, you will work with other social services, agencies and providers to ensure the needs of the child or young person and their family are fully met. Location : Māngere Site, Tāmaki Makaurau. Salary : $81,206 to $97,557.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring

• Registration with New Zealand's Social Work Registration Board (SWRB) or able to register
• A full, clean, current driver's licence
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated resilience, problem solving techniques and flexibility
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong PC and Microsoft Office Suite skills with excellent report writing skills
• Understanding and appreciation of cross‑cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture

Oranga Tamariki offer an impartial remuneration package, that offers progression annually for experience through tenure. Annual remuneration for this position starts between $81,206 to $97,557 dependant on experience, with annual tenure‑based progression steps available above this range.
