We're on the lookout for a proactive and reliable Storeperson to help lead our team and deliver a top-notch shopping experience for every customer.

If you enjoy working hands-on, supporting staff, and being part of a motivated team, this is the role for you.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week guaranteed.

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise and coordinate retail staff to ensure daily duties are carried out effectively and customers are served promptly

Support the team with handling customer issues, product questions, or complaints in a professional manner

Allocate responsibilities across team members and prepare rosters to cover store operating hours

Assist in the hiring process by participating in interviews and helping to train new staff on store procedures and expectations

Provide on-the-job support to staff when dealing with complex sales or challenging service situations

Review returned items or complaints and decide on action according to store policy

Keep an eye on stock levels, assist with inventory checks, and report to the manager when restocking is needed

Make sure all products are properly labelled, priced, and neatly displayed on the shop floor

Help maintain a safe working environment by ensuring all staff follow store safety and security protocols

Skills and Experience :

Qualification at certificate or above level is required to efficiently carry out the role responsibilities.ORMinimum 1 year of experience in a similar retail or customer-facing environment in the absence of any qualification.

Strong communication and leadership skills

A customer-first approach with the ability to resolve issues calmly and fairly

Reliable, organised, and confident in giving direction

Able to work flexible hours during the morning, afternoon, evenings and late evening shifts, including weekends and public holidays
