Job descriptionWork with the SENCO to strengthen school-wide learning support systems. Collaborate with teachers to identify student needs, plan targeted programmes and monitor progress. Ensure every child receives the guidance and resources they need to achieve their potential by working closely with students, staff and whānau. Provide support to individual students or groups of students when targeted or tailored supports are needed. Build strong, positive relationships with students, staff and whānau to create a supportive learning environment. Support learners with diverse learning and behavioural needs. Foster strong relationships with tamariki and their whānau. Have great initiative and are solutions-focused. Enjoy working collaboratively, have a good sense of humour and love to learn. Have an understanding of our school community.
