The Role
Sanitarium is seeking a talented Communications Officer - Internal & External Channels to join our Trans-Tasman Communications and Corporate Affairs team.
In this exciting role, you'll work collaboratively to help shape and deliver integrated local and Trans-Tasman internal and external communications strategies that connect our people, consumers, and communities with our mission : to change lives every day through whole person health.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement internal and external communications briefs and plans across digital, print, social, and intranet platforms that can be leveraged and executed locally, in Australia, or Trans-Tasman
Create compelling written and visual content across a range of channels including media releases, social media posts, speeches, newsletters, and more.
Collaborate with teams across New Zealand and Australia to amplify Sanitarium's story and initiatives to multiple stakeholders
Manage and contribute to digital platforms including websites, intranet, and social media channels.
Support the planning, content development and execution of communications materials for corporate publications and events.
Support community care initiatives and stakeholder engagement through effective communications and administration.
About You
You are a passionate storyteller that looks for ways to tell our Sanitarium stories, connecting our people, our purpose and our brands with our many audiences.
You have a can-do attitude, be proactive and know how to craft messages that connect, engage and influence.
You'll be comfortable writing in a range of styles for different channels, working on multiple campaigns to deliver impactful content.
Tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a communications role, with proven success across internal and external channels.
Exceptional writing and content creation skills across formats and platforms.
Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and the ability to translate complex ideas into engaging content.
Proficient in Microsoft 365, Content Management Systems, and social media tools.
Collaborative, proactive, and passionate about purpose-driven work.
