Mo te turanga | What you'll be doing
As Site Owner, you'll be responsible for the performance and output of the hydro generation sites in your portfolio, with plant availability being a key measure of success.
You'll oversee delivery of project, maintenance, and operational activities across our three Mid Waitaki hydro dams, located between Omarama and Kurow in the Waitaki Valley.
You'll ensure work is planned and completed safely and in a manner that meets our generation output targets, and you'll be at the forefront of coordinating work happening on our sites, working alongside our Planning Team.
We're currently looking for two Site Owners to join our team in the Waitaki Valley and Mackenzie District areas.
Depending on your experience and location, you may be considered for either role.

A solid understanding of asset management principles supported by a track record of effective risk management decision-making
Disciplined and structured project management skillset, managing cost, quality, schedule and risk
You will have a deep understanding of the Generation business and how it drives and delivers value to our customers
Experience in managing health and safety requirements, as well as workplace behaviour culture initiatives to improve safety performance and cross-team collaboration
Open and regular communication skills to engage a wide and diverse team in achieving a shared goal
High levels of self-awareness, an active listener, a known thought leader with an ability to influence change
Exceptional listening skills, empathy and a growth mindset are an absolute must
