Store Person - Trade Paint and Coatings (Multiple Auckland Locations)

Our client, a well-established and trusted leader in the paint, coatings, and trade supplies sector, is looking for reliable and customer-focused Store People to support their busy Trade Centres across North / North West Auckland, Central Auckland, and South Auckland .

These roles suit individuals who enjoy hands-on work, engaging with customers, and being part of a friendly, high-performing team. You'll support a range of store operations - from customer service to stock handling and paint tinting.

About the Role

You'll be part of the front-line Trade Centre team, supporting both counter and back-of-store functions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist customers with product enquiries and trade orders
• Tint and mix paint to customer specifications (full training provided)
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately
• Replenish shelves and maintain tidy, well-presented displays
• Safely lift, move, and handle stock (up to approx. 25kg)
• Answer general phone enquiries and support at the service counter
• Work collaboratively with the store team to meet daily targets

About You

You're dependable, customer-focused, and enjoy being active during your workday. You don't mind rolling up your sleeves and supporting wherever needed.

Skills and Experience :

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting
• Able to follow store processes and work safely
• Retail, trade, or warehousing experience beneficial (not essential)
• Positive, adaptable, and willing to learn product knowledge

Important Information

• You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
• A pre-employment drug test, MOJ check and / or medical may be required
• Must be flexible to work across one of the three Auckland regions depending on business needs
