Due to our current teacher taking a year’s leave of absence during 2026, we are looking for a dynamic teacher to continue the mahi and teach physical education. This role also encompasses organising and co-ordinating sport within the school.

We are a well resourced and supportive Intermediate school in West Auckland requiring an innovative, collaborative, motivated and positive physical education teacher to teach composite Y7–8 classes, commencing January 28, 2026 within the Specialist team department.

We seek a New Zealand registered teacher with a strong curriculum and Assessment for Learning knowledge, as well as a commitment to learn alongside a very supportive and collegial teaching and learning team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about teaching physical education within the intermediate aged schooling area and working with emerging adolescents.
