We have an exciting opportunity available for a literacy and numeracy specialist to deliver our accelerator programme for Y9–11.
The ideal candidate will be culturally aware and enjoy the challenge of working within a modern learning environment.
The candidate will have had experience in delivering accelerant programmes in literacy and numeracy with a proven track record.
This individual will work alongside our kaiako in Y9–13 and in our intermediate area to ensure our akonga are provided with everything necessary to be successful.The successful candidate will have : Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamAbility and confidence teaching Y9–13Experience with planning and delivering integrated learning for Y9–10A commitment to providing extracurricular opportunities for akongaSound organisational skills and be details-orientedStrong pastoral skills to support in the role of Puna Ako kaiakoSound communication skills to support akonga, whanau and kaimahi.The successful applicant will exemplify the school's values of Hanga Whare, Alofa, Manaakitanga, Service and Success.
