The Operations Manager would also supervise and support in areas of logistics, safety, purchasing, repair and maintenance and labour management.Core ResponsibilitiesManage the supply, integrity and allocation of equipment to meet business and client requirementsMonitor external hires to ensure Encore Event Technologies equipment is used in preference to externally hired equipmentOversee complex jobs in conjunction with Production, Sales, and OperationsEnsure the effective and efficient rostering of casual and full-time crew to ensure show delivery needs are metEffectively plan the rostering of crew and casuals to ensure that payroll costs are minimised and that the skills mix on every job is correctManage the availability, allocation, and maintenance of company vehiclesSubmit and approve purchase orders, payroll claims and variations needsBuild capability through identifying, nurturing and sourcing talent to meet current and future business needsProvide coaching and mentoring to develop and optimise individual and team capabilityYour BackgroundPrevious experience in logistics, operations or audio-visual technology is highly regardedBackground in Production (highly desirable)Previous experience using labour scheduling software and financial softwareProven track record of managing a large team of peopleProven management or supervisory experienceExcellent oral and written communication skillsHighly developed customer service skillsTime management skills; the ability to manage multiple and competing deadlinesExcellent decision-making skillsWhy Join Us?
