About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our Invercargill Companion Animal Team on a fixed term contract to cover a period of parental leave.

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week) position and includes participation in the weeknight and weekend on‑call roster.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Surgical nursing including hospital prep / care, anaesthesia and animal handling
• Vet nurse consults and client education
• Collecting and submitting diagnostic samples
• Digital radiography and imaging
• Fluid therapy and IV catheter placement
