• Join our team as we expand the Radiology Services delivered at Southland Hospital. Fantastic opportunities available for Medical Imaging Technologists at a range of levels.We have a vibrant team, who work across the full remit of Medical Imaging specialties which include CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound and General X-Ray.

Our department provides training to Radiology students from Ara so on the job teaching and supervision will be a part of your new role. A modern work environment, Southland Hospital was completely rebuilt to ensure purpose fit and efficient patient flow in 2004. We work a rotating shift roster, ensuring a consistent service to the Southland community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• About you
• To be successful in this position, you will need to :
• be experienced, approachable, and professional with a team-based approach
• have a natural affinity for relationship building with both patients and staff alike
• be a team player through and through, with refined communication skills
• hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate and hold registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiations Technologists Board
• be highly adaptable, motivated and efficient
• have the ability to cover both the on call and shift roster.

• This role belongs to the APEX / DHBs Medical Imaging Technologists Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($77,087 p.a) and Step 7 ($107,600 p.a pro-rata) of the Medical Imaging Technologists scale.
