Clinical Nurse Manager

About the Role

Step into a leadership position where your expertise truly shapes outcomes for children and their whānau. You'll lead a 10-bed neonatal unit caring for preterm and unwell infants (32+ weeks gestation), while also overseeing a community service that supports children with acute and chronic conditions in their own homes. Alongside inspiring and developing your team, you'll keep your clinical practice sharp with 0.2 FTE protected time dedicated to direct patient care.

• Lead and coordinate the daily operations of staff and resources
• Provide strong professional leadership and inspire your nursing team

• Drive innovation and continuous improvement to achieve outstanding outcomes

Skills and Experience

• Proven background in neonatal nursing with advanced clinical expertise
• Current NZ Registered Nurse with practising certificate
• Master's degree (completed or in progress)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, mentor, and empower others
• Passionate about delivering safe, compassionate, family-focused care
• Calm, organised, and resilient in a busy clinical environment
• Committed to equity of care, staff wellbeing, and continuous improvement
