About The Role
Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is seeking a clinical unit administrator for the Tauranga Maternity Unit. This position is part time, and predominantly afternoon / night shift cover. Shifts vary from 06 : 00 – 15 : 00, 14 : 30 – 23 : 00 and 23 : 00 – 06 : 30.
This position provides front of house administrative care to our hapu patients and their whanau in the community. Attention to detail, a high level of initiative, good organisational and communication skills are key components to the role.
The position requires you to work closely with patients and clinical staff. Therefore, you will need to be comfortable building rapport with various people and be a trusted and respectful staff member.
About the Team / Service / Location
The team works on a rotating 24 / 7 roster. You will support all clinical, non-clinical staff and patients within the service. This is a varied role that requires a high level of attention to detail. This is a reception-based role in Tauranga Hospital Maternity Unit.

Due to the demands of this position, there will be a requirement for you to act quickly, efficiently and decisively.
