Not only do we get to care for fabulous women and families from all across our diverse region, we also get to work alongside kind, compassionate, dedicated midwives and other health professionals to provide a safe and positive birthing experience.
Each year we birth around 1,800 babies and work closely with the midwifery and medical schools to give the kind of care our patients deserve.

About you
We are seeking applications from current midwifery students, that are enrolled in a New Zealand Bachelor of Midwifery programme who are dynamic, friendly and can demonstrate a high level of initiative.
You will be committed to high standards of practice, be well organised and have excellent communication skills.
It is important that you are motivated, flexible, and enthusiastic.
Experience working with people in a caring capacity is advantageous, however we are excited to support your entry into the profession.
As a casual employee, you may be asked to complete morning, afternoon or night shifts, but we will work together to create a great balance for your schedule.
