About the Opportunity
Our client is a well-established business with over 35 years of industry experience and strong roots in the North Canterbury community. They pride themselves on providing high-quality service across a wide range of vehicles, from light automotive and heavy transport to campers and agricultural machinery. They are now looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Electrician to step into a Team Leader role, taking a hands‑on approach both in the workshop and out in the field, working across a diverse range of vehicles and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and servicing across a variety of electrical systems and vehicles.
- Use diagnostic scan tools to accurately identify and repair faults.
- Carry out scheduled maintenance on electrical components and equipment.
- Support and guide technicians in daily operations.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams.
