You will be responsible for efficient, effective and safe patient care delivery as follows :

• Provide professional assistance to anaesthetists and works in partnership with the MDT to ensure positive patients outcomes
• Manage resources and equipment for delivering a patients and whanau centred care
• Share knowledge and experience within the team
• Ensure timely Trakcare documentation to ensure efficient patient flow and discharges
• Actively contribute to organisational goals for eliminating health inequalities for Maori and Pasifika patients
• Reflect and demonstrate the values of Te Toka Tumai Auckland in daily practice
• Provide competent support to your team and perioperative practice students in conjunction with your educators and charge anaesthetic technicianFor all aspects of this role please see the position description here

About you

You will be a qualified anaesthesia support health professional with a relevant qualification e.g experienced Anaesthetic Technician, ODP, or RNAA with minimum two years of post-qualification experience and will meet the following :

• Currently hold or be eligible for registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand ( / ) or current APC with Nursing Council of NZ
• Be flexible and resilient
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
• Be an excellent communicator and have high quality interactions with the MDT and staff.
• Be proactive at identifying issues, escalation and problem solving these.
• Be passionate, driven and focused on quality and excellence
• Have a proven track record for setting high ethical and professional standards
