About the role :

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Quality Technician to join the QA Team based in Wiri - Auckland. The successful candidate will play a crucial role as a Quality Technician in an FMCG environment, where maintaining product quality, ensuring customer satisfaction, and upholding the company's reputation for excellence are paramount.

Shift : Potential Tuesday - Saturday and you can choose from one of the below shifts (may involve occasionally staying back until production is complete)

• Morning : 5 : 30am -2pm
• Afternoon : 1 : 30pm - 10pm

Responsibilities of role include :

• Conducting quality checks and inspections throughout the production process.
• Monitoring and maintaining quality control measures to meet regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with production teams to address quality issues and implement improvements.
• Performing various tests and analyses to verify product quality and safety.
• Performing data analysis and reporting on quality metrics.

Experience that may be required :

• Experience in a fast-paced food or other manufacturing facility is preferred.
• Previous QT experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Possession of any tertiary education degree is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Proficiency in computer skills above average is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work within a team.
• Physically fit and able to work in cold environments.
