Mercy Hospital is seeking a motivated new graduate Anaesthetic Technician to join our perioperative team.

Responsibilities
Provide professional, technical and clinical assistance to Anaesthetists.
Provide safe administration of anaesthesia to patients under direct supervision.
Anticipate problems and provide exceptional patient care.
Coordinate documentation to ensure the patient receives effective care.
Participate in quality improvement processes and activities.
Skills & Experience
Recently completed (or soon to complete) a recognised qualification in Anaesthetic Technology.
Demonstrate sound professional judgement and ability to practice in a culturally safe manner.
Build successful working relationships and work independently or within a multidisciplinary team.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Enthusiasm and a proactive, flexible attitude.
Eligibility
Applicants must provide vaccination history to be eligible for employment at Mercy Hospital Dunedin.
Employment Details
This is a permanent, full-time (1 FTE, 40 hours per week) position.
Hours are Monday-to-Friday roster.
