About the role :

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the Front Office Agents and, in doing so, ensures a great working culture and client satisfaction of the highest level. Additionally :

• Being responsible for the daily running of the Front Office department in the absence of the Front Office Manager
• Working closely with the Front Office Manager on recruitment, mentoring and training the Front Office team
• Meeting with and assisting guests, ensuring a unique and memorable experience
• Monitoring and responding to guest feedback
• Liaising with the accounts team regarding invoices and payments
• Ensuring checklists are completed and signed at the end of each shift
• Ensuring all departments are kept up to date on reservations and guest requirements.

About you :

The successful candidate must be passionate, well presented, possess strong communication skills (verbal and written) and most importantly, will go above and beyond the call of duty to deliver a true luxury experience for our guests.

This is a unique role and one that differs greatly from a typical hotel or resort Front Office role. High energy levels, attention to detail and exceptional communication skills are critical to your success.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of between $28.50 and $31.00, depending on experience, for a minimum of 30 hours per week. You may be expected to work up to 55 hours per week in our peak season.
