Senior Business Analyst

Location : Auckland CBD (Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days WFH)Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for driving business solutions and fostering growth?

We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a dynamic team and make an impact on our client's innovative projects.As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring that business needs align with IT delivery models, recommending system and process changes, and integrating solutions to enhance business operations.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to provide expert analysis and ensure the effective implementation of IT systems and services.Key Responsibilities : Provide expert consultancy to business units, ensuring IT applications meet business needs.Collaborate with external vendors to develop and maintain information systems.Coordinate activities across departments to enhance system synergies and efficiencies.Facilitate and manage vendor and business unit collaboration to ensure timely delivery of IT requirements.Review and sign off on functional specifications and system acceptance.Assist in preparing RFIs and RFPs for new IT initiatives.Perform business process mapping and contribute to business requirements documentation.Identify and recommend cost-effective IT initiatives that maximize business value.Deliver a high standard of customer service by developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including health and safety, regulatory compliance, and more.Skills & Experience Required : 8+ years of experience in IT business analysis, with at least 4 years in a senior role.Proven track record in delivering IT system services or products.Experience in end-to-end project delivery using traditional and agile methodologies.Strong understanding of project management approaches, tools, and techniques.Experience working in highly regulated industries, AML or risk / compliance.If you are a strategic thinker, a problem-solver, and an expert in IT business analysis, we want to hear from you!
