By ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of inbound materials and keeping our AutoStore system replenished, you directly support seamless warehouse operations.
From checking quality and receipting materials into SAP to safely operating forklifts and maintaining stock, your work keeps the warehouse running like clockwork.
You also play a key part in supporting outbound operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a safe, organised workspace.
Simply put, this role keeps the entire supply chain moving efficiently and reliably, making a real difference every day.
What you'll do
As a key member of the HBD warehouse team, you'll ensure materials flow efficiently and accurately through the facility, supporting both inbound and outbound operations.
Your core responsibilities include :
Receiving & Checking Stock : Safely and accurately receive inbound freight, complete inspections to meet compliance standards, and record all materials in SAP, ensuring goods match supplier documentation.
Put-Away & Replenishment : Move products from staging areas to storage racks or AutoStore, updating SAP to reflect locations.
Run replenishment reports, pick and place materials into AutoStore or racking, and optimise space while maintaining accuracy.
Outbound Support : Pick and pack orders efficiently, prepare pallets for dispatch, create consignment documentation, and manage hazardous goods safely in line with regulations.
Safety & Housekeeping : Maintain clean, organised, and contamination-free work areas, perform pre-operation checks on forklifts, and ensure compliance with GDP standards.
Continuous Improvement : Contribute ideas and participate in initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
This role is vital to keeping the warehouse running smoothly, ensuring stock is accurate, accessible, and ready for both internal and customer needs.
What you'll bring
Previous warehouse experience with safe and efficient forklift operation (forklift license required).
Strong team player with high energy, integrity, reliability, and a commitment to contributing to team success.
Well-developed numeracy, literacy, and communication skills, including good verbal and written English.
Strong attention to detail, consistently high output, and a focus on quality standards and continuous improvement.
Physically fit, able to handle lifting up to 20 kg.
Skilled in problem solving, decision making, and delivering excellent customer service.
Knowledge of Health & Safety, GDP, and security requirements.
Competent in using ERP systems (SAP) and basic Microsoft applications.
