Te turanga – The role
This role is part of the Policy and Regulatory stewardship team who are responsible for the governance, monitoring and care of the prudential regulatory system including ensuring that our prudential legislation is fit for purpose.
In this role you will conduct in-depth analysis and research across a range of areas to address complex issues and challenges facing New Zealand and global economies. Leveraging your technical and communication skills, you will contribute to shaping our policies and legislation, supporting decision-making, and advancing our understanding of central banking.
O pukenga – About you
To be successful in this role you will have :
Professional experience in public policy, regulation, financial services and related areas
Knowledge of the machinery of Government, the legislative processes and Cabinet decision-making
Analytical and research skills
Understanding of financial systems, especially NZ's banking and regulatory frameworks
Experience designing data collections and performing policy analysis
