NPDL is part of The Wonderful Company headquartered in Los Angeles, CA.NPDL is seeking an experienced Class 5 Container Truck Driver to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting 20 and 40-foot containers to and from customer sites and depots on time.Responsibilities will include : Safely transporting 20 and 40-foot containers to and from customer sites and depots on timePredominantly metro work (with some shorthaul and linehaul required from time to time)Loading / unloading containers efficiently and securelyConducting pre-start fleet checksMaintaining accurate documentation around deliveries / pickups (including compliance with logbook entries)Adhering to all health and safety regulationsTo be successful in this role, you will need : A current, clean Class 5 NZ Driver's Licence3+ years of proven experience operating a container truck (manual preferred)Knowledge of container handling procedures, specifically at portsStrong focus on health and safety with attention to detailAbility to work flexible hours as requiredExcellent understanding of the NZTA Goods Service and Heavy Vehicle requirementsWe offer a competitive benefits package, including an hourly rate plus bonus, opportunity for development and internal mobility, and a company-focused wellness and health program.EEO is the law.
