Session facilitator

Hataitai Playcentre is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic session facilitator to join our well-resourced and vibrant Playcentre Community. You will work alongside our members and tamariki to guide session activities, facilitate learning using child-led play and positive guidance. You will be a hands-on team member who encourages others to thrive; you will model Playcentre philosophy and good practice while supporting whānau to gain confidence to have a go themselves.

Days & hours :

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays 9am to 12.30pm, 14 hours per week. This is a permanent position, during school term time only.

The candidate must have :

• The Playcentre C3 qualification or the New Zealand Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care L4 or a higher ECE qualification or a primary teaching qualification with the Playcentre Primary Teacher Bridging Award, for licensing purposes.
• A current First Aid Certificate or be prepared to complete this.
