OverviewEnvironmental Engineering Graduate ProgrammeThe programme offers exposure to a wide variety of projects, addressing environmental challenges across projects and clients in the nuclear and defence sectors, with a focus on protecting people and the planet.ResponsibilitiesAs a Graduate Environmental Engineer, you'll protect the environment and public safety by managing radioactive and hazardous materials and minimising environmental impact of large-scale defence operations.You'll work on projects with multidisciplinary teams or focused consultancy assignments, engaging directly with customers and contributing to practical environmental solutions.Day-to-day activities may include developing waste characterisation strategies, supporting feasibility studies for new treatment facilities, delivering environmental solutions with clients, and contributing to the design and management of systems and assets with a sustainability focus (environmental impact assessments, case reports, safe disposal planning).
Programme structureOver two years, you'll rotate through placements every three to six months, exploring a variety of projects and teams.
Some rotations may involve different locations, helping you build your professional network and understand how the business operates.

Placements at different sites across the UK are possible.
Agile working is supported, but you'll be expected to work on-site multiple times a week.
