You will be responsible for whipping up delicious quality home cooking and designing tasty menus for our residents in a restaurant environment.

This position is responsible for the profitable management of the dining operation and experience, ensuring a welcoming and professional customer experience, driving growth, meeting budgets and ensuring food quality and hygiene standards are exceeded.Locations : We have Villages with great kitchens in South Auckland who always need cover from great Cooks and Chefs.Some of the great things you will be doingWhipping up delicious offerings in a restaurant environmentCoordinating the kitchen to ensure it operates effortlesslyMaintaining a high standard of food with consistent portion sizes and outstanding presentationUsing your leadership skills to help lead our kitchen teamAbout youProven experience in a similar roleFlexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekendsCommercial kitchen and or café experience is preferredFood industry qualificationExcellent food hygiene practices and personal presentationAbout usAt Metlifecare we create homes and communities.
