By ensuring our kitchens and café are spotless, well‑stocked and food‑safe, you will help create a welcoming space where our people can recharge and connect. Working alongside our Chef and Facilities team, you’ll make sure coffee machines are ready to go, catering runs smoothly for meetings and events, and supplies are always on hand and available for staff purchases.

What you’ll do
- Maintain three DPL kitchens to a spotless, well‑stocked and food‑safe standard – cleaning surfaces, cupboards and fridges, running and unpacking commercial size dishwashers, and replenishing tea, coffee, sugar and milk
- Making sure that the café (located in the main cafeteria) is stocked with snacks and food for staff purchasing
- Take charge of our coffee machines – setting them up each morning, keeping them clean throughout the day, and closing them down at day’s end
- Assist with food preparation and baking, ensuring all tasks meet Auckland Council Food Safety Licence requirements
- Manage food storage and rotation, including labelling, dating and proper segregation
- Receive, unpack and organise food deliveries; order essentials (e.g. milk) and collect groceries off‑site when required
- Provide hands‑on support for catering at internal events and functions, including Board and Executive meetings
- Assist the Chef with ad‑hoc tasks, helping deliver high‑quality service to the business
