Join to apply for the UX Designer & Researcher (12-month fixed term contract) role at Heartland Bank LTD.ResponsibilitiesLead user research and design across transformation programs to ensure digital experiences are intuitive, engaging, secure, and compliant.Conduct research with customers to uncover needs, behaviors, and pain points.Design and run usability studies, card sorting, and A / B tests to validate product decisions.Create wireframes, prototypes, and guide high-fidelity designs for web and mobile platforms.Design user flows for onboarding, account management, trading, and reporting.Translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights.Collaborate with digital designers and developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and responsive behavior.Present findings and design concepts to stakeholders across product, risk, and marketing.What you'll bringStrong experience in UX design and / or research, ideally within financial services or fintechA strong portfolio showcasing user-centred design for complex workflowsExperience with tools like Figma, Dovetail, UserZoom, or similarFamiliarity with financial terminology and regulatory constraintsExcellent communication skills, especially when translating technical or financial jargon into user-friendly languageAbout HeartlandHeartland is an NZX / ASX-listed financial services group with big growth plans.
