Job descriptionFamily Service Manager Nil Mana Whanau Supervisors Community and Parenting Supervisor Office Administrator Wesley Community Action (Sister Organisation) Mana Whanau staff Community and Government Organisations Oranga Tamariki local site staff Coordinating and facilitating the Lifewise Whānau Resilience Programme, including managing participant engagement, session content, planning, and delivery. Evaluating and iterating the programme based on emerging knowledge and evidence. Collecting data, maintaining accurate records, and providing regular reports. Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with West Takiwa and other community and sector organisations. Ensuring service delivery aligns with Lifewise's goals and objectives. Supporting engagement processes that actively involve marginalised groups who have experienced family harm. Understanding the position of Māori as tangata whenua, with a commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and an openness to understanding the application of Te Tiriti articles in the context of The Lifewise Trust. Promoting a culture where health and safety are integral to success through planning, delivery, monitoring, and review of health and safety processes. Innovative thinking with the ability to iterate learnings as they develop. Understanding and experience working with a Māori worldview, including Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Tikanga, and Te Reo. Ability to support and facilitate whanau-led initiatives. Proven ability to innovate and develop solutions to complex issues. Excellent relationship and communication skills (verbal, written, computer literacy). Patience, creativity, flexibility, compassion, and sensitivity to individuals with current or historical family harm experiences. Professionalism, accountability, and a collaborative approach with whanau, managers, and teams. A 'whatever it takes' attitude for the best outcomes for whanau. Qualifications and / or experience in a related field.
Whanau Resilience Programme Co-ordinator

Lifewise is an innovative organisation working with marginalised people to create better services and solutions to enable their full participation and ability to thrive.
The Whanau Resilience initiative aims to build strong, resilient communities where whanau are supported to live violence-free and to eliminate the effects of violence for future generations.
Lifewise has designed and developed a strength-based, whanau-led programme informed by the need to :
- Strengthen cultural identity and whakapapa.
- Enhance social capability and community connection.
- Support trauma healing and recovery from violence.
- Create healthy relationships and skills within affected whanau.
- Support long-term behaviour change for men and individuals using violence.
As the Whanau Resilience Co-ordinator, you will be based within the Community and Family Services team, working with whanau affected by family harm in the Waitemata Police District.
