Senior Application Specialist (Technical Business Analyst) - Data
We’re looking for two Senior Application Specialists (Technical Business Analysts) to join our data teams. These roles support and enable the building of our data platform, drive value creation from data, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in technical business analysis and experience drafting technical user stories for data teams in an agile setting.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the Analysis and Design : facilitate conversations and workshops to define, design, estimate, and schedule development tasks required to deliver functionality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements for the squad, including facilitating workshops.
- Translate business requirements into story maps and actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Develop functional and technical specifications, including data models, use cases, and workflows.
- Champion the user acceptance testing (UAT) process to ensure the platform meets business and technical requirements.
- Provide necessary guidance to the development team during implementation.
Key skills and experience
5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in an Agile squad.Strong experience in banking or finance industries.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex technical issues.Experience facilitating business and technical requirements elicitation sessions with stakeholders.Experience with large and complex modern cloud-based enterprise systems / platforms is advantageous.An agile mindset – adaptable to change, collaboration, and continuous delivery of business and customer value.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Benefits and culture
