As a Fire Protection Engineer, you will be involved in some of the industry\'s most exciting projects but also have the opportunity to develop your career within an industry leading engineering consultancy.
Our Fire Protection team in New Zealand helps clients locally but also helps our clients in Australia, so offers a wide range of opportunities to grow your career.In this role, you will work across a huge range of different activities : Provide key input and leadership on fire safety engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet all relevant Building Code and Standards.Liaise with clients and our team to work through solutions.Participation in site and final inspections.Help prepare reports of our findings and help the client make the best decision for safety.Help grow the brand through networking and key client opportunities.Help mentor the future generation.Requirements And QualificationsMust be a New Zealand Citizen / Permanent Resident.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Structural, Civil, or other related engineering discipline.Previous experience in a Fire Engineering or Fire Safety Compliance role.Experience in networking and client management.Willing to think outside the box to help our clients and want to collaborate with the industries best.Jensen Hughes is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
