Due to our roll growth, we are seeking an educator who is excited to help our students reach their full potential.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to have you join our team!
At our intermediate school, collaboration and growth are at the heart of what we do.
Teachers receive over 30 hours of release time each term, and syndicate teams meet together to plan, collaborate, and focus on professional development, which eliminates more after-school hui.
Your role will include crafting engaging lessons for Y7 and 8 students that bring the whole curriculum to life.
You'll integrate Te Ao Maori and sustainability to create meaningful learning experiences, foster a positive classroom where critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork flourish, and build strong connections with students, parents, and whanau.
You'll also help shape and improve our strongly localised curriculum.
We're looking for someone with a New Zealand teaching qualification and experience, or a genuine interest in working with intermediate-aged students.
Your teaching style should be effective and adaptable, and you should be passionate about inspiring creativity, innovation, and problem-solving.
Teamwork with colleagues and engagement with whanau are essential, along with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
In return, you'll find a supportive and collaborative workplace where your contributions make a real difference.
We offer meaningful professional development tailored to your growth and a well-resourced school environment to support your creativity.
We want someone energetic and enthusiastic who thrives in a dynamic setting and is ready to engage fully in school life.
Building strong, positive relationships with young adolescents is crucial.
If you enjoy integrated, localised learning and value being part of a team, you'll fit right in.
When applying, please highlight your key strengths in your cover letter—we want to know what sets you apart.
Units may be available depending on strengths.
